Volunteering at Odyssey House Victoria

Odyssey House Victoria welcomes contributions from those wanting to volunteer their time and skills to help support the work of Odyssey House Victoria. Roles vary depending on our requirements and are only advertised when the need arises. However, due to the nature of our work, volunteer roles are generally limited to administrative tasks and do not include working with our clients.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

Odyssey House Victoria is currently looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist the Fundraising and Development team with general administrative tasks during business hours.
Tasks will include: -

  • Data entry
  • Filing
  • Compiling information kits
  • Collating documents
  • Photocopying
  • Using internet to research potential funding opportunities
  • Envelope Stuffing

Desired skills include

  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient in use of MS Office, esp. Word and Excel

We are looking for someone to start asap so if you can spare a few hours a week, please call Janet Beaumont, Development Director, on 9420 7600. Please note volunteers will be required to undergo a Police check prior to starting.
