Carlton FC Auction and Tin Shake

Odyssey House Victoria would like to thank all of the residents, staff and volunteers who gave up their day on 27th of May to tin shake at the Carlton/Melbourne game at the MCG.  Everyone braved the cold and wore their best smile to ask football fans to support Odyssey House by giving a donation.  A few volunteers even had their faces painted in Carlton colours to support our new partnership!  All volunteers then took part in a Guard of Honour on the ground which the Carlton players ran through at the start of the game.  An experience which won’t easily be forgotten!

Carlton FC also put their weight behind our new relationship by auctioning two junior mascot experiences and a signed Guernsey with all proceeds going to Odyssey House Victoria.

A great day was had by all and helped to promote of Odyssey House Victoria.  We saw our name on the big screen and Carlton FC promoted us across both their website and Facebook sites.  Read more here: http://www.carltonfc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/4311/newsid/136994/default.aspx
