Education and Training at the Odyssey Institute
Training Delivered The Institute aims to reflect on existing practice and develop new innovative ways to respond to alcohol and other drug issues. This provides a foundation from which treatment practice can be perpetually improved. Through identifying service gaps and developing innovative programme responses, services can begin to address a wide variety of issues that perpetuate and drive problematic substance use. Training and dissemination of this type of information can enhance real client outcomes. A culture of inquiry and learning is best fostered when staff members evaluate their practice, write about their outcomes, and present the information to others in a way that facilitates learning.
