Corporate Partnerships

Odyssey House aims to build mutually beneficial partnerships with companies that share our mission, which is to create and sustain environments for positive change for those whose lives are affected by drugs and alcohol.

Odyssey House has been Victoria's largest and most efficient provider of residential drug treatment for over 22 years. Odyssey House is the only drug treatment service to receive an achievement award from the State Government for excellence in delivery over the past three years.

Partnerships are an integral part of Odyssey House and the treatment programs that aid those affected by drugs and alcohol. We value partnerships that share our vision for a more caring and cohesive Community, that are willing to invest time and resources into the relationship and who believe in real social change.

These partnerships vary immensely and are tailored to suit each specific partnership.

Some of the ways to get involved:

  • Cause Related Marketing - investing in Odyssey House as a marketing exercise.
  • Match Giving - companies can match the money raised through fundraising.
  • Staff Fundraising - improving employee satisfaction and retention through staff involvement. Odyssey has many creative initiatives that are very simple and easy to implement.
  • Investing in Specific Programs, such as the "Family Units" project, which is building six residential family units to keep families together during therapy. One could be named in the companies or staffs honour.
  • Salary Giving - staff can donate a percentage or specific amount of their salary.
  • Gifts in Kind - Odyssey House has limited resources and maximise those available. Companies can donate "gifts in kind", which is tangible items such as computers or equipment.
  • Mentoring - Odyssey House needs mentors to aid therapy. If you have transferable skills and time to give, we need your help.
  • Odyssey@work is an employment initiative which offers a range of employment services and community work projects to people overcoming the effects of drugs and alcohol.
