Each year, Odyssey House Victoria’s Kids in Focus (KIF) team provide an opportunity for families to attend a camp together.
KIF camp is focused on relationships and respect and allows families some time to share a new experience as well as time together as a family outside of their home.
This year’s camp was held on Phillip Island with 15 parents, 8 children and 4 babies in attendance. This busy camp provided a range of family activities including kite making, surfing, night bush walks, discos and a trip to Churchill Island where families could milk cows and go on tractor rides.
The camp not only provides inclusive family time but is a part of a journey where the families can learn new skills and put into practice any learnings in a safe and supported environment.
